Album Artwork

Fernando de Buen, the frontman and singer/songwriter of Así Así had a strong vision he wanted to convey for the album art. He wanted to incorporate mask imagery, and create an "impossible image" of a man looking in a mirror at himself wearing a mask, but also wearing a different one on the back of his head. The masks in this image are authentic Mexican masks.

Zine Design

Así Así is a hispanic band, and all their lyrics are in Spanish. I designed a lyric zine to accompany the album displaying: the original lyrics in Spanish, their translations in English, and illustrations for each song.

Poster Design

For Así Así's album release show, I incorporated colors, imagery, and typography from the album and single artwork for the release show poster design.

Press Kit Design

To tie everything together, I designed a multi-lingual press kit to fit seamlessly with the visual identity of the rest of the release. It is easy to read, interactive (with links), and fun to look through. The mix of vibrant and subdued colors, combined with the bold typgraphy represent the dark and dance-y tones of the album.
